We have organized a debate in 4th B classroom about the effects of economic liberalism and industrial capitalism in the nineteenth century. One group is representing the workers of a textile factory and the other, the owners of the factory. First, each group make an initial presentation of the status of the group and why they are participating in the debate. Then, they discuss issues such as low wages, poor working conditions in factories, the difference between the homes of both groups, etc. There are two very interesting moments in the debate in which one member of each group seriously discuss any of these issues. Here you can see the video of the debate, I hope you enjoy it.
